How it all started...
Pastor Aaron Smith began his childhood in Southern California, but as a young man his family relocated to the coastal area of Washington State. In his early 20's he achieved a major personal goal of becoming a firefighter and had a successful 15 year career. However, an injury to his left shoulder became a significant turning point in his life. God used a challenging situation to lay the groundwork for transition from extinguishing fires as a firefighter, to igniting spiritual fires in people's hearts as the founding Pastor of The Rock Calvary Chapel in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Pastor Aaron is married to Robbyn Smith who has been a leader in many of the churches ministries including worship, children's ministry, and women's ministry. Their family is completed by their daughter Elliana.
