Aaron Smith

Lead Pastor

Pastor Aaron  was a firefighter for 15 years in Washington State and a missionary in Rosarito, Mexico for one year.  It was in Rosarito  that God gave Pastor Aaron and his wife Robbyn the calling and vision for planting the Rock Calvary Chapel in Punta Gorda, FL.  The church has been established since 2016.  Aaron and Robbyn have one daughter.  Pastor Aaron loves to motocross in his spare time.

Jack Gurney

Associate Pastor

Pastor Jack is an associate pastor at the Rock Calvary Chapel. He is happily married to his wife, Melissa, and they have four children, Charlotte, Asher, Hannah, and Wyatt.

Tammy Hole

Administrative Assistant

Tammy and her husband Dave, both raised on the farm in Indiana, were married in 1984 and began attending Calvary Chapel in 1985. Over the years she has been actively involved in children’s ministry, women’s ministry, church planting and outreach, missions, and teaching at a private Christian school. She worked as a bookkeeper and missions administrator, and has also served as Sr. Pastor’s wife.  She and her husband vacationed in Punta Gorda in 2010, fell in love with the community and returned often to visit the area. During an extended vacation in 2017-2018 they began attending The Rock Calvary Chapel and in 2021 it became their church home.  Tammy and her husband have 2 children; Christin and Evyn (Jessica) and 10 grandchildren; Madison, Mareena, Elijah, Eleanor, Karina, Kate, Lydia, Emelia, Karleigh, and Morgan.

Dave Hole

Pastor

Dave Hole is from Crawfordsville, Indiana. Dave began attending Calvary Chapel with his wife, Tammy, in 1985.  He has held various roles over the years with responsibilities that included; youth, home fellowships, board member, radio, recovery ministry, church planting, and senior pastor. Dave is a graduate of Horizon University.

Chris Jericka

Facility Coordinator

Chris Jericka was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania in 1979 and moved to Port Charlotte in 1981. He graduated Port Charlotte High School in 1998.  He then went into the United States Marine Corps where he was deployed to Africa and the Middle East and was given the rank of Sergeant until his service ended in 2006.  He moved back to Port Charlotte in 2006 and worked as an electrician. During this time he took night classes and received an Associate of Science in General Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Project Management with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2009.  He received his Master of Business Administration in 2011. Later that year he met Melissa Dees, proposed in 2012, and was married to her in early 2013.  In 2014 he started up his own commercial handyman/maintenance business to work with property management companies. In 2021 Chris and Melissa adopted a baby girl named Talia. In 2022 he graduated from the School of Ministry and works as the facilities manager for The Rock Calvary Chapel.
