Next Steps

At the Rock CC our mission is (1) to reach the lost with the saving knowledge of Jesus, (2) assist people in aligning their lives with God’s Word, and then (3) to equip followers of Christ to do the work of the ministry. Once you’ve accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, there are some steps you can take to continue your walk and grow your relationship with your Creator.

Speak To A Pastor

Learning to play music is similar to learning to walk with the LORD. Initially it may not sound like harmony with God’s musical note sheet, but as you practice your music sounds sweeter and sweeter. We would love to help you develop your walk with Jesus.

Baptism

If you have accepted Jesus as your LORD and Savior, baptism is the next step. Baptism is a public statement that Jesus has washed your sins away and that you are a new creation because of Him.

If you are ready to be baptized please contact a pastor and we will get you scheduled.

New Beginnings is our class geared toward those who have recently began their Christian walk, those who have been away from their faith and recently returned, or those who are just new to The Rock. This class will provide a general intro to the church and our beliefs, as well as provide an opportunity for fellowship with your fellow believers. It’s a great step to take to get plugged in. Class is held on Sundays beginning February 6th, during the 1st Service at 8 AM in the Kids Rock Portable.

Prayer

Like every relationship, spending time together is essential. Prayer is our open line to speak with our Creator, and to seek His response. There is no right or wrong way to pray, just start talking with your Heavenly Father as you would your best friend.

Discipleship

God uses the church to teach you and help you in your walk with Jesus. The Bible is filled with promises, direction, love, hope, and fellowship. We teach verse by verse so that you will know the full counsel of God.

Share Your Faith

Evangelism may seem intimidating, but can be simple.Whether you are new or seasoned in faith, sharing your faith with others gives them a window into how a relationship with Jesus changed your life. Sharing Jesus with others is how lives are changed and God’s kingdom grows. As you continue to understand the amazing gift of grace, your desire to tell others will grow.
